Braggot Tasting at Baying Hound

The leaves have turned and there’s a chill in the air. Time to celebrate with the sweeter brews of autumn at Baying Hound Aleworks as they tap their Alpha Bitch Braggot (9.3% ABV).

Curious about things braggot-y? A braggot is a type of mead that’s generally thought to be Welsh in origin. While braggots are brewed primarily with honey and malt and spices, these guys add a little bit of our homegrown hops in lieu of the spices for a flavor that’s uniquely Baying Hound. It’s also slightly carbonated for a different sort of taste experience.

Head Hound Paul will be on hand to chat about the brewing process, and they will be conducting tours and tastings on the hour as per usual.

Due to limited supply, they will not be filling growlers or bombers with the Braggot.

Tour and Flights of four $7.00
Tour and regular tasting $5.00
