The Brouwerij ’t Verzet Showcase at The Sovereign

Join The Sovereign on Wednesday, March 22nd as we welcome Brouwerij 't Verzet. Founded in 2011, Verzet, which translates to “the resistance,” set out to experiment and push boundaries within the slower-moving, traditional Belgian beer scene. On this night, we’ll feature 8 different beers from this hard-to-find artisan Belgian brewer!
Highlights from the evening’s list include a rare keg of Oakey Moakey, which blends a Dry Stout aged 4 months in BenRiach & Laphroig Scotch barrels with their now classic Oud Bruin (which happens to be the only Oud Bruin in Belgium that is not filtered or pasteurized!). And, speaking of Oud Bruin, we will be pouring that flagship offering along with a version that's been finished on grapes!
There is no admission fee for this event. All Verzet beers will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.
