Flying Dog Tap Takeover at Max's Vies to be Largest Ever

We don't normally talk up Baltimore events on the site, but you might be interested to know that on Friday, December 21st, 2012, the day Mayans did not predict the world will end, Flying Dog is taking over Max's Taphouse in a big way. Fifty-six (56) draft lines will be pouring all manner of FD offerings, including a bunch of rarities. All six single hop double IPAs will be there; as well as Kujo, their imperial coffee stout, in both fresh and aged versions; and the first 2013 Brewhouse Rarities release, a dark chipotle ale, among others. It's pay as you go and all attendees will be entered into a "Rapture Raffle," in which one can win all sorts of survivalist gear. Because we're talking about Flying Dog, I assume the raffle could include blow-up dolls and the entire back half of any Spencer's Gifts, but see for yourself.

At one point this was to be the largest tap takeover anywhere, beating out Sierra Nevada's Churchkey tap takeover earlier this year, but then Cannery Row Brewing Company put seventy (70!) SN drafts on, so we're left with the largest tap takeover on the East Coast.
