Since opening, Birch & Barley/ChurchKey has always had a very long cider list that, as they say, is part of "celebrating the long but modest history of cider." On Monday, November 12 Birch & Barley will a shine a very bright light on two things important to them: cider and gluten-free cooking.
The dinner will feature talented cider makers from Virginia and is a part of the first annual Virginia Cider Week. Cider makers from Foggy Ridge, Castle Hill & Albemare CiderWorks will be bringing some of their most unique and flavorful ciders to pour alongside Chef Kyle Bailey and Pastry Chef Tiffany MacIsaac's entirely gluten free menu.
Details: 2nd Annual Artisan Virginia Cider + Gluten Free Dinner is priced at $73 (excluding tax and gratuity) per person and includes a five-course tasting menu paired with nine ciders. Reservations can be made by calling 202-567-2576.
