Probably one of the most changed parts of the city in the last 10 years, Columbia Heights should be a destination for any craft beer lover. Meridian Pint is a big reason to come and anchors the neighborhood, but the other bars and restaurants along 11th and 14th Streets make this one of the most solid craft beer neighborhoods in DC. There is a little something for everyone from those looking to learn more about craft beer to the most ardent supporters of suds.
Right next door to Columbia Heights is the easily forgotten Mount Pleasant, which has had a great beer scene for many years. Venues like Tonic, Radius, Marx Cafe, and The Raven offer options for craft beer procurement in Mount Pleasant, too!
Big thanks to John Whitler for his contributions in writing the descriptions for the venues in this neighborhood.
