DC Brau is turning six years old during this year's Craft Brewers Conference. Last year they threw a party and released one of the cooler six-packs out there.
Well this is good news. The fine folks at Atlas Brew Works and DC Brau are teaming up to serve as the official beer sponsors of the 2nd Annual Funk Parade. Now one can get Rowdy in Public while shaking one's groove thing.
At this weekend's growler hours, DC Brau will offer a sneak peak at a beer brewed with Colorado's Oskar Blues. The beer, an India Pale Ale, is designed in no small part to celebrate the legalization of marijuana in the District of Columbia.
A bit of breaking news out of our own DC Brau today. Effective immediately, they are discontinuing free tastings during growler hours. Brau is doing this because during said hours, people are exiting the brewery through a side door and getting back in the entrance ticket line.
Great news for all you Brau fans who had to suffer through empty growlers - the brewery will reopen the tasting room this Saturday, 7/12. From a press release:
